Sunset Park Reroof Committee

Meeting of June 5, 2001

The following members were present:

• Steve Rawlinson
• Mike Newman
• Mike Honey
• Wendy Shepard
• Almud Wennkittl
• Doe Melrose

The committee held the following brainstorming sessions:

• Categories of recommendations to the board
• What we know, believe, and think we know
• Where to get more information

The committee decided to invite 3-5 roofers to come talk and identified the first 3 roofers to invite. The committee selected the following dates for the roofers to come:

• June 19, 2001
• July 10, 2001
• July 24, 2001

Doe presented some information she received from one of the roofers that is to be invited. She had received sample quotes to reroof units 41-44 using various grades of asphalt and fiberglass shingles, which she shared with the committee.

Steve presented some information to the committee. Part of Steve's information came from another roofer to be invited (by way of the property manager), and part came from research on the internet.

Steve volunteered to arrange to have the roofers come visit.
